July 3 was my husband's birthday. And then July 4 is American's birthday. And everyone celebrates them with lots of fireworks. Except here in Honolulu, where there will be no fireworks in Waikiki and Honolulu.

Yesterday, we celebrate Dan's birthday with his favorite dinner: Buddhist Sukiyaki (mushrooms instead of meat, can you believe?). Dan made his birthday cake by himself. Poor Dan! But I made the sukiyaki, ha!

What do most people do for 4th of July? We practiced our lines for an upcoming movie, FINDING KATE. Can you believe? It's TRUE!

We also watched a movie about George Washington. It's the story of the American Revolution and the first president of USA. It's what everyone is celebrating the 4th of July. When I watched this movie, these battles made a new country. Amazing! I discovered that George Washington liked DANCING!  Maybe the first DanceSport person in USA, even the world, maybe!
