In seven days, on Saturday, 25 September 2021 at 7 PM Hawaii Time "The STATIC Movie" will premiere on Hawaii's KHON2, KHII and CW. It will ALSO premiere internationally on 25 Sept at 7 PM Hawaii Time AND 26 Sept at 7 PM Eastern Standard Time on https://www.khon2.com

I had a lot of fun as a "supporting actress" playing Edna in The Static Movie. I played an old Japanese lady in a nursing home, playing bridge with friends. In the movie I finally won the bridge game breaking Yuriko Asakawa's (playing Martha) forever winning streak. "I won I won I won...!"

I spoke English, and fought with Martha in Japanese. :-)

In fact, acting in Japanese was great fun; on the other hand, speaking in English was more challenging especially when trying to show feelings. Kenny Simmons, the director, was very kind and patient, until I got my English lines perfect! It was my first experience at acting, and I found about my life more interesting and enjoy my life.

My name as actress is now in IMDb.com (https://www.imdb.com/name/nm12933935/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1)! I won, I won, I won! I am so glad receiving this opportunity! I am looking forward to another acting opportunity while I continue working with my editor on THE POWER OF DANCE (Savant, in production).

The STATIC Movie is about a grouchy old veteran, who's survived everything life has thrown him. Until now. This time he faces Alzheimer's disease, a battle he, his friends, family and caretakers can't win. However, he finds a unique way to deal with it, with the help of an old radio that plays only static!

That's all.
