Our Japanese cucumbers are [surprise, surprise] still making wonderfully tasty cucumbers despite the plant looking sad, with drying leaves and browning of leaves. Only one small part of the vine has healthy green leaves. The first harvest was 5 excellent cucumbers [yum] which we used for salads and chikuwa. The second harvest was 5 more though it took almost a month to revive and produce. This is the third harvest, and I've found 3 flowers with baby cucumbers though it's taken a month. 

When I was a child in Japan, I grew cucumber bushes with many more cucumbers all at once over a couple months. 

I'm surprised cucumber almost died but keeps coming back. I think, however, it's time to plant some seeds for another generation. Never give up! Just be kind to the plants and talk to them.

時が経つのが早すぎます。
私たちの日本きゅうりは、植物が悲しそうに見えても、葉が乾き、葉が焦げ目がつくなど、今でも素晴らしくおいしいきゅうりを作ってくれています。つるのほんの一部だけが健康な緑の葉を保っています。最初の収穫は、サラダと竹輪に料理した5本の優れたキュウリ[yum]でした。 2回目の収穫は、復活して生産するのにほぼ1か月かかりましたが、さらに5本収穫できました。 ３回目の収穫で、一ヶ月かかりましたが、きゅうりの花が咲いて３本のBaby胡瓜が育っています。

子供の頃、日本では、きゅうりの木を立派に育て、きゅうりを数ヶ月かけて一気に収穫しました。

きゅうりがほとんど枯れてしまったようでにびっくりしましたが、まだ育っています。しかし、次の世代のために種を蒔く時が来たと思います。あきらめないで！ただ植物に優しくして、彼らと話してください。素敵な胡瓜ができますよ！
