Aloha!
Although Dan and I have been busy for a while, we still ask each other, "Did you write on Futariblog today?" This has been going on for over a month. Tonight, we finally both added to our blog. Awesome!
While blogging, I heard the telephone ring and picked it up. "Hello? Moshi Moshi?" I said, "OH MY GOSH! I was just thinking about you! I had just decided to write you a letter!" 本当にびっくりした!
It seemed that my friend had somehow felt my thought (I wanted to contact her). I believe that there are no coincidences in life; everything that happens always has a meaning. But how did she feel my thinking, I wonder? How did she know what I was thinking?
It is a real miracle. I don't know how to explain this kind of thing, but I believe people have a way of knowing things, and when acting on those feelings, amazing events happen. I have experienced this kind of situation before. Is this something in my mind? Do I sense change? Or is my sixth sense more active than usual? Anyway, my friend and her husband will visit Hawaii next week, and they want to meet me. I knew it!
By the way, Dan showed the turtle photo in the blog that one looks like 親亀の上に子亀を乗せて♩♪♫ (彼は全然理解出来ていませんが、、)

Now that my new children's Color-Me-Please book, THE TURTLE DANCES (Savant 2013), has been released, I'm out looking for some stuffed animals to include along with the book. They've got to be realistic (I'm a naturalist) and yet cute and cuddly (after all, Isla, the dancing turtle and her dance partner, Surf, are beautiful turtles in looks and heart). While I haven't yet fully decided, I'm favoring these GUNDimals turtles.

What do you think? Have you read my new book about Isla, the Hawaiian ...

Aloha!
Dan and I have been busy almost one month. We were surprised that we haven't blogged for
one month. During the month, however, we returned to dancing, now two days a week! It was so fun dancing again. I'm glad Dan is able to dance again. For the past three years, I have been helping Dan to recover without surgery. The hours of massage and muscle releasing are paying off finally.
When we went to dancing, everyone we knew asked us what happened. We are so happy to be dancing again.

I don't usually comment on television shows. In fact, I generally avoid them. A TV program has to be really exceptional for me to tolerate all those interminable commercials and still have the space to relate. But relate I could to GREEK. To tell the truth, I didn't even know the six-season series existed, until stumbling on it on NetFlix well after the series was laid to rest and buried.
I could relate to this program maybe because in my college years I worked as a houseboy in a fraternity i...

Do you know Solitaire? It is a card game that I like it. It is also a digital game, too. I enjoyed playing it from the first. I like it so much I one time played it all day and night.
Dan and I play the game several times every night in bed before going to sleep. Now we have accumulated almost 400,000 points. At first, it was not so difficult to solve, but recently it has become quite hard to complete a game. Still, the purpose is to use our "procedural" brain to relax to go to sleep.
On the ot...

I like to watch one hour TV program, "Antique show" every Sunday. Today I watched this program, one man brought Koi fish shape weathervane for the program. He bought this $17,500 from the dealer. The professional collector on TV explained the Koi weathervane that is fake and value price is $500. Oh my God! The dealer sold it o expensive to this man. I can not believe it. I wonder that the man could not figure it out, it was right or not. It was expensive shopping. Poor man!

Weird. I was just watching "The Truman Show" and suddenly wondered if you're watching me blog. Are you? And if so, what do you see? The North Shore. At least, today. Well, earlier today. Betty and I drove to the North Shore, end of the road at Mokuleia, near where the "Lost" plane crashed. Really! Betty and I one day came upon this section of plane on the beach, with debris scattered everywhere. Being a physician, I thought to myself, "Oh, shit!" Then I noticed the movie trailers parked along...

When I read Dan's Blog tonight, I remembered a class I took calle, "The Ecological Perspective." During this course I had to give a five-minute presentation for my final. The title of mine was "Geckoes and Humans Coexist in Hawaii." From the ecological perspective, domestic households in Hawaii commonly include humans and geckos.
I actually dislike geckoes. One day after I moved to Hawaii, I looked up at the celling and saw a small off-white colored creature looking down at me. I screamed. I ...

This Saturday, Betty and I made our weekly trek to Oahu's Northshore. The weather was beautiful. We drove to the end of the road in Mokuleia, and walked the shoreline, Betty looking for salt, and me for sea shells. Then it happened! Peeking out from behind a chunk of a'a (sharp) lava I saw a flash of brilliant red and green. I knew instantly it had to be the Green Gecko, who visits to warn believers just before a disaster. And I'm a believer. Always have been.
It's impossible

Aloha!
My husband asked me that why and how people play. I said, what? I didn't know what to reply. He asked me another way how to play. How to play, I wondered? Do you play alone? he asked this time.
I said that people play with other people, not alone. For example, a husband and a wife go to someplace together and hold hands. That means when people play they often like touch, skin-to-skin, that is like somatic therapy (my definition of somatic therapy involves breathing and touch).
When pe...
